Subscription terms

Spot Check offers a free tier and a paid tier (“The Full Read”) at £2.99 per month. Payment is processed by Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal on your manage page.

Cancelling your subscription

When you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier: one area, one interest, and no budget cap. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

Free month rewards

If you earn a free month by submitting a popular event, your next billing period is free. After that, your subscription resumes at the normal rate unless you cancel.

Unsubscribing

If you want to stop all emails, click “Unsubscribe” on your manage page. This deletes your preferences, past newsletters, submitted events, and account data entirely. This applies to all accounts, whether free or paid. If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled as part of this process.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. For questions about a charge or to manage your payment method, visit the billing portal on your manage page or refer to Stripe’s terms of service.
